I was happy to see “Bad News for Outlaws: The Remarkable Life of Bass Reeves, Deputy U. S. Marshal”  showcased in a story about the need for diversity in children’s books. The report brings out some interesting points about how images  relate to ethnic and cultural demographics as well as points of views from Andrew Karre (the editor) and Vaunda Micheaux Nelson (the author).
